A mysterious fragrance

Stepping on to the balcony in the morning, I understood why this is named the Mysterious Fragrant Mountain. There was a sweet, beautiful perfume in the air. The others think I imagined it.

Pohyon Temple 普賢寺 is a 1000-year-old temple from the Koryo dynasty. All but two of the buildings are originals.










International Friendship Exhibition Halls are enormous museums that display overseas gifts to the leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. The collection numbers over 200,000, ranging from artworks and ivory carvings to mobile phones and Macintosh computers (not the latest models, unfortunately).
