A cruise of the narrow river took us very close to the North Korean shore.

Yalu River Broken Bridge 鴨綠江斷橋 was built between 1909-11 by Japanese colonialists, but was destroyed by American bombing during the Korean War. The ruins stand as a memorial to the war (and a tourist attraction).
