Baita Temple

Built during the Yuan dynasty, Baita Temple (or White Stupa Temple) 白塔寺 is the oldest presence of Tibetan Buddhism in Beijing. The architect of the white pagoda was Nepalese. So the temple has associations with China, Tibet, Nepal and Mongolia (the Yuan dynasty rulers).
